Pride

The biggest hindrance keeping many of us from living a life submitted to Christ is pride.  I’m sure you have all of the cliche’s about Pride, but that doesn’t  seem to deter us at all does it?  This sermon jam deals with this issue give it a listen, and examine yourself.  Are you keeping your pride in check?  Are you fooling yourself with false humility (which is just pride in reverse)

The Kingdom?

No doubt about it, times are getting darker and darker.   It would seem that this ever increasing darkness that people would be primed and ready to hear about the answer..the Light.  Unfortunately on many fronts we (Christian Community) are shooting ourselves in the feet with our antics and inability to be moved by our love and compassion for the lost.  The answer is not in our loud yelling and political maneuvers.  We can’t pass legislation to force people to live right…oops I’m getting ahead of the Sermon.

Something to think about after you listen: There is a saying that goes something like; Whom you Love you will “Trust” and whom you “Trust” you will obey.  Jesus shows us throughout the Gospels that He has the Power to do what He says He will  do.   Listen and then ask yourself, Do I Love Jesus< Do I Trust Him…if so you should be obeying Him as well.

Expression

Question: Is your life and your existence an “expression”  of who God is?  What is your focus on?  Is it on you and the things you desire or is it on allowing God to use every part of you to bring Glory & Honor to Himself?  By all rights & purposes Jesus Christ has purchased you…and if you believe that then the next step should be allowing Him to Live Through You!
