Freeze: Definition: to stop moving or become immobilized; Example; “When he saw the police car he froze”

As I am typing this, it is a whopping 7 degrees outside…and virtually everything outside is frozen.  I had to go out in the cold earlier and I felt like I was frozen myself, but that is not the kind of “freezing” I mean in today’s post.  The definition of “freeze” that I had in mind was that which means to cease or stop moving.  [Psalm 46:10] demands that we stop and recognize who God is, and that He is well able to provide for and protect us.  If we aren’t careful we are subject to losing sight of the fact that it is God who is our source.  While the world is scrambling to make sense of a failing economy, and are faced with destruction and uncertainty…we hold fast to the knowledge that God is ever present ever vigilant working things for our good.  I just wanted to encourage you with today’s devotion to put your complete trust in God.  If you have been trying to figure things out or make moves on your own just FREEZE!  Stop and seek His guidance and allow Him to make a way for you.
