Holy Hip Hop Unites to Save Darfur
The Holy Hip Hop Foundation for Social Justice is on the Move!
Rather than just sit idly by and watch the Genocide in Darfur unfold, Christian Rappers, Producers and Holy HIp Hop Artist have come together, uniting under a banner of Social Justice to help bring aid to Darfur. These artist have made it their responsibility to help in whatever ways they can to bring an end to the Genocide, Slave Trafficking, Civil Rights Violations and Other Social Injustices taking place in Darfur.
As a part of their attempt to bring awareness and raise funds for the Save Darfur Campaign, these artist are releasing the “Save Darfur Now Compilation Vol 1.“ Some of the artist featured on the compilation are : Propaganda (of TRz), Sivion (of DeepSpace5), AppleJaxx (of Nureau Ink), David 2.0 (of Nureau Ink), Sojourn (of Future Shock), Atom The Immortal (of Secta 7), Sevin (of HOG MOB), Enmity (of South Africa), Secta 7, Von Won, Minister RMB, Lil Ras, Tre-9, Conflict, S.O.M (Soldiers On a Mission), Cy, Just para-DOX, Mr Ren, Dj Sean P, Versat1le, Twisted Optiks, Tha Heata, Nate G, LitaRodi, T.R.I.G.G.A., Bigg Moose, theBREAX, Name Brand, Afaar, NomiS, Reg Henry, ColCutz, John Orozco & Gina Gross.
To date as many as 450,000 people have been killed in Darfur. In addition to that, 2.5 million people have been driven from their homes and into danger. The constant threat of rape, torture, murder and starvation pursue the women, men and children of Darfur wherever they flee. It’s time for those who are able to satnd up and be voice of the voiceless, to do what we can to help bring justice to those who are so desperately crying out for it.
What can you do to help? You can learn more about what is going on in Darfur. You can pray for Darfur. You can take action yourself by help spread the word, or you can even join the Holy HIp Hop Foundation For Social Justice Network on Ning. At the very leat you can purchase one or more of the Compilation Cd when they are released. Whatever you decide, Just rememeber that every litlle bit helps, and as Christians we are madated to care for those that are less fortunate, and as God’s Children these are our Brothers and Sisters hurting. Less do what we can to bring them some Pain Medicine.
