I went through a phase once, as a kid, that lasted for years. I was angry with my father for things he had done (or failed to do.) I tried my hardest to act like and pretend that I was not his son, but I wasn’t fooling anyone.

Lately I have been on a good music streak! When I got my hands on a copy of J.A.Z.’s Walk, I had no doubts that the streak would continue. A few months back, while on a road trip I stumbled across the J.A.Z. Classics and Throwbacks Compilations, and I was impressed with what I heard. It didn’t hold the weight of a full album, but it was just enough to keep me distracted while I was stuck in traffic on a freeway in the middle of nowhere.
